> Welcome to the ShockClockŠ Suspension Analysis System. This is the Help Guide for Dirt, Street, Mountain Bike, and the Leverage Ratio Software.
The ShockClock System is comprised primarily of:
- ShockClock Data Recorder
- Transducer - Ultrasonic Acoustic Wave-GuideŠ (UAWG)
- ShockClock Suspension Analysis Software
- Generic Mounting Hardware (You may need to get creative for some applications.)
- The ShockClock system is a unique approach to suspension analysis, from its one-of-a-kind UAWG Transducer, to its comprehensive and intuitive Suspension Analysis Software.
- ShockClock Kits are available to fit a wide variety of Dirt, Road Race and Mountain Bikes. They can be adapted for use on many other vehicle types, such as Cars, Trucks, Buggies, ATV's, and Snowmobiles.
> The ShockClock & Ultrasonic Transducer
The ShockClock is a battery operated single channel data recording unit that controls a unique Ultrasonic Acoustic Wave-Guide Transducer developed by Delta Measurement Systems, Inc. and Race Tech, Inc.
> Not a general-purpose data acquisition system.
The ShockClock and Transducer are custom designed for suspension analysis and are not available for any other data acquisition systems. The ShockClock system is not a general purpose data acquisition system. It doesn't monitor motor, throttle position, lap times, or make track maps. It just does suspension.
> Metric System - All distance measurements are in millimeters (mm). Velocities are in Meters per Second (M/s).
