If you want to lower the bike you need to shorten the shock (or shorten a Ride Height Adjuster). Generally this is done by putting a spacer in the shock, shortening adjustable lenght shocks, or with a frame mounted Ride Height Adjuster for sport bikes so eqipped. We can use the LR Curve to calculate the length of this spacer or the amount the shock should be shortened. Click on the Leverage Ratio Analysis Menu and select “Calculate Lowering Spacer”. Select the Leverage Ratio File you want to use and input the amount you want to lower the bike at the axle.

If you want to raise the bike input the amount you want to raise it at the axle as a negative number. This can be accomplished on many sport bikes with a frame mounted Ride Height Adjuster and can sometimes be done inside the shock for all types of bikes.
