We suggest that you generally make 4 1/2 minute recordings with the ShockClock. This is enough to get a good sampling so the “Average” numbers are meaningful.

Be sure to setup Vehicle Preferences before collecting data. See 5.2 Preferences
> Test Day Preparation
Mount the ShockClock to the bike in your shop or garage before going to the track if possible.
Test the system to make sure everything is working. Do a trial download of a hand recording to make sure everything is working properly.

Zip Ties – bring lots of them!
Assorted bolts & washers – 6 & 8 mm
Steel Flat Stock – ¾ x 1/8 x 3 or 4 feet for making any custom mounting brackets (don't use aluminum – it can break)
