There are two styles of transducers.
1) Standard Carbon/Carbon Tubes - Front or Rear Mounting Both upper and lower are carbon tubes.
6" Travel Wave-Guide Tubes. - Outer Wave-Guide – 280 mm (11”) end to end. - Inner Wave-Guide – 230 mm (9”) end to end.
If you are shortening 15” Tubes see 3.5 Shortening the Tubes. You can also purchase tubes pre-sized. See 1.4 Accessories.
2) Control Rod Tubes - Front Mounting ONLY! This Transducer uses a metal "control" rod instead of the standard carbon lower tube. It is easier to mount on the front but is not suitable for rear mounting because it cannot handle side loads. The upper tube can be mounted with a standard hose clamp.
The control rods come in two styles "stepped" and "looped". - The Stepped style lower rod can be attached with a hose clamp. - The Looped style is meant to be bolted to the axle pinch bolts. > Remote Record Switch The Remote Record Switch (MSRS 03) comes with Pro Kits and allows remote control of two ShockClocks.
Typical mounting of the Remote Record Switch is on the clutch perch pinch bolt. Use the spacer and a longer bolt.
