When you have completed this section go to 3.4 Adjusting the Tubes.
The mounting is typically on the left fork leg. The transducer head is up slightly above the triple clamps. > Fork Upper Mount – Conventional – RR Use the “Stepped” Control Rod. This allows for the difference in diameters of the mounting locations. Hose clamp the upper bracket to the fork tube between the triple clamps.
> Fork Lower Mount – Conventional – RR Hose clamp the “Stepped” Control Rod to the seal area of the fork leg. Rotate it so it so there is no binding. Make sure there is more travel in the Transducer than the fork has and it has clearance when the fork is fully extended (including the top-out spring). Tighten the hose clamps.
